So, this is my first post and hopefully one of many. Since my previous attempt at a slog in csc165 was rather lackluster, I am hoping to keep on top of my updates this time around.
My first week in csc236 went as well as I hoped it would. In the first lecture it was pretty clear to me that I had to get my brain back into gear and review all that csc165 knowledge I had stashed away during the summer. After finding my csc165 binder that I had somewhere in the back of my closet, I sat down and flipped through my notes and surprisingly it didn’t take me long to familiarize myself with the old material. So, when the second lecture came around everything went much more smoothly. So far, I can’t really say much about the course itself since only a week has passed. All I know is that I enjoyed csc165 and I’m hoping that csc236 will be just as great.
Also, I want to say that I love the tablet PC teaching method along with the green on black writing which is really easy on the eyes.
Well, I’m off to start my first problem set and hopefully I will be able to document all the joys and frustrations of problem solving on this slog.

I'm impressed at you unearthing the binder --- I'm not sure I would have been that disciplined.
